Founded in 2017, we're of the belief that Taekwondo can help our next generation. Our classes are progressive, and based on researched teaching methods. Our Masters have a wealth of experience under their belts and you'll be able to achieve your goals through our school.

OUR CLASSES

At Gaonhae Taekwondo, we're committed to helping our students reach their fullest potential.. Our classes are carefully curated by Headmaster Kang, and catered to different age groups. Our curriculum encompasses all aspects of Taekwondo, prepare students for Singapore Taekwondo Federation’s Grading. We pride ourselves on delivering classes of high standards, and we hope to cultivate an appreciation and a deeper understanding of the martial art.

4 to 5 Years Old

Our Little Gaonhae class is started with the goal to encourage preschoolers to lead an active lifestyle from an early age. They will be exposed to a wide range of activities, which are not limited to only Taekwondo. They will also be exposed to basic Taekwondo movements, which will in turn improve their fitness levels and flexibility.

5 to 7 Years Old

Our Junior class curriculum comprises Poomsae, Kyorugi, mental and physical training, stretching and fun activities. However, every lesson varies to keep students engaged in class.

Our classes are progressive and students will also be exposed to advanced Taekwondo movements. We are of the firm belief that Taekwondo goes beyond just a martial art, but inculcates a sense of discipline and spirit of perseverance. Therefore, we aim to raise awareness of these traits our students can endeavor to build in themselves.

8 to 14 Years Old

Our Kids class curriculum comprises Poomsae, Kyorugi, mental and physical training, stretching and fun activities. However, every lesson varies to keep students engaged in class.

Our classes are progressive and students will also be exposed to advanced Taekwondo movements. 14 Years Old & Above

Our Teens and Adults class is open to anyone above the age of 14. Most of our adult students started out as a White Belt and went on to attain a Black Belt with us. Therefore, we do not require any prior experience to join our Teens and Adults’ class. Our classes also come accompanied with physical training, allowing you to improve your fitness levels whilst practicing Taekwondo. As our class sizes are small, it allows our Masters to ensure that you are able to properly execute the various Taekwondo movements.

Our Signature Programme

Team Gaonhae is our signature programme which prepares students for Poomsae and Kyorugi competitions, both locally and internationally. Our Team Gaonhae students have participated in major international and local competitions such as the World Taekwondo Federation Hanmadang Taekwondo Championships and National Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, and clinched podium finishes.

As training is rigorous, our Team Gaonhae class is on an invitation-only basis.
