About Gaonhae Taekwondo
We have taught Taekwondo since 2017, and today run six dojangs — five across Singapore and one in Morley, Perth. Our classes are progressive and built on researched teaching methods, led by Kukkiwon-certified masters.
Why we teach
Gaonhae was founded in 2017 on the belief that Taekwondo can help the next generation. Our classes are progressive and based on researched teaching methods, so a student who starts with us at four and one who starts at forty are both taught in a way that fits them.
Our masters have a wealth of experience behind them — national federation coaching and refereeing credentials, Kukkiwon qualifications, and years in the dojang. That experience is the reason a beginner can walk in with no background and progress all the way to a black belt with us; most of our adult students did exactly that.
Discipline
Cultivating focus and self-control.
Fitness
Improving physical strength and flexibility.
Spirit
Building perseverance and confidence.
Our masters
Every Gaonhae programme is led by instructors credentialled by Kukkiwon — the World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul — and by the national federation of the market they teach in.

Kids · 8–14
A progressive curriculum that builds discipline and perseverance alongside the martial art itself.
Teens & Adults · 14+
No prior experience needed. Most of our adult students started at white belt and earned their black belt with us.
